working on that. Got some nice

Nice trails. It was a nice day

for a bike ride. A little

nervous about the fog rolling in

in the morning. We got this big

do you get, a big fog horn,

maybe a lighthouse. Where's the

lighthouse? Yeah Fog horn.

Misty. Yeah. I, I think for a

while it could be a problem.

Saturday morning. It's the, the

fog is so tough to forecast.

It's extremely localized. I had

no fog in my house. Nothing at

your house. But we had it coming

over the bay and over near the

water. And obviously the

bayshore is near the water. So

we'll see how things play out

Saturday morning. One thing we

do know not cold, uh, upper 70s,

low 80s. Good day today. Any fog

outside? No What's interesting?

Look. Look how tall those clouds

are in the distance. Uh, first

time in 2024. The clouds getting

tall because of daytime heating

and not impossible. That has

that sea breeze. Line pushes

inland. We could see a few

showers. So for the first time

this year, kind of a summery set

up around Tampa Bay. And then

Brookdale Bayshore to Clearwater

Hilton Beach, 79 degrees, kind

of some low clouds around and we

will watch for low clouds and

fog later tonight. Uh, boy,

there's a lot of rain west of

us. The rain just ended in New

Orleans. It's moving east down

I-10. Look at in Biloxi. Uh,

really coming down some heavy

rain eventually that cold front

is going to head our way, but

not until Sunday. It's Thursday,

the drought index, the good news

is, around Tampa Bay, we have an

area of abnormally dry and a

moderate drought. About a month

ago, we still had areas that had

an extreme drought, but no rain

to speak of the past week. But

there will be additional showers

on Sunday as the cold front

arrives from the northwest. A

little sliver in our state, 80

plus the rest of the country.

Mild to cool, but again, nothing

that sticks out is really,

really cold air clouds and fog

around this morning. Little sea

fog kind of lurking offshore and

as winds diminish tonight and

then turn a bit to the southwest

, the visibility likely to drop.

So tomorrow morning, heading out

the door, you may want to leave

a lecture time because

visibility could be reduced

because of thicker clouds and

fog. And then a line of rain

continues in the lower

Mississippi Valley. The front is

kind of stuck. The rain has

moved just east of New Orleans.

Uh, it'll eventually move our

way, but it's going to wait

until the jet stream kind of

gives it a big kick. And once it

gets a kick, it'll start moving.

Saturday night or Sunday morning

. I don't think any severe

weather. Just a line of showers,

maybe a thunderstorm form, then

that goes by and we turn pretty

chilly. I'll tell you Monday,

Tuesday and Wednesday back to

the 60s for daytime highs. For

now it is a big ridge and it's a

lot of heat and everything kind

of going around the ridge. So

next couple of days we're pretty

much locked in. Been watching

Skytower because those tall

clouds I showed you on the

Brookdale Bayshore Cam, there's

a chance of maybe a couple of

Seabreeze showers popping up

next hour or two, but I don't

see anything right now. There is

rain, heavy rain just near New

Orleans, mobile up to Montgomery

, and there have been several

areas of flooding rains and all

kinds of issues in the lower

hours. Check out lows this

morning 69 degrees. The average

high is 71. We were 69 degrees

at 8 a.m, 70 and 80 around the

peninsula right now. So for

tonight, low clouds, patchy fog.

Excuse me, 69. Then for tomorrow

, some low clouds and fog, then

partly cloudy, warmer inland,

some sea fog 82. Saturday's last

warm day. Low 80s with morning

fog and then the cold front goes

behind the front on Sunday.

South wind tomorrow sees about

two feet. Next hide is a low

tide. 646 seven day forecast.

It's really a tale of two

seasons. Kind of summery the

next two days, and then we get a

bunch of 60s coming up Sunday

through Wednesday. More chill

and then bouncing back up to 71
